Interdisciplinary artist Cara Stricker and musician John Kirby collaborated once before for what they deemed “Make Love to the World,” an exhibition featuring Sticker’s visuals and Kirby’s sounds, but today, they launch their second, more intensive project, Drool. Although there is a strong focus on purposefully repetitive pop music, Drool successfully melds all artistic fields: summer anthem sonics on a full-length album and limited-edition cassette tape are accompanied by a 40-minute film, live performances in New York and Los Angeles, and a video clip for the song “End Girl,” which we are pleased to premiere below. – interviewmagazine.com
Giving it up for a west end girl
living in endless night,
thats right
thats right
loving me low even though it hurts
giving it all its worth
hurts right
hurts right
I watch the rules unfold
Is it love
Micky’s a top,
Tammy’s a Sub
A bella donna snow white
On site
On Site
She crashes the crib
She crushes the club
They hit the sauna all night
Thats right
Thats right
Unshaven lines
Her fringe long and fine
As he puts my hand on her
I watch the rules unfold
Is it love?
